Music Lessons

At Busbridge CofE Junior School the children have the opportunity to take part in music both in school in their class lessons, and in other ways such as in the school choir. We are also invited to take part in local events - this term some of our year 3s will be taking part in a 'Singing Picnic' at Runnymede organised by Surrey Arts and helped by Lisa Olsworth-Peter from Busbridge Church who is teaching the children the songs to sing. Lisa has also run singing workshops for us with all the year groups on our recent Music DoubleDay.

The children can also have instrumental music lessons in school which are run by external providers. We have a number of external teachers who come into school to deliver the lessons during the school day. These include piano, guitar, ukelele, drums, brass and woodwind lessons. Parents book and pay for the lessons directly through the music lesson provider.
